Past Summit Information
LAM Summits are opportunities to bring hand-picked leaders in LAM research together with leaders in next-generation work and domain-specific expertise for working sessions focused on building collaborations, overcoming barriers and seizing critical opportunities to move the priority areas in treatment research forward. Our focus is on consolidating what is known and what is necessary to learn in order to find treatment. We work to identify unsurpassed global experts, labs and collaborating institutions/companies throughout the world that are best equipped to carry out prioritized high-impact research. We then pursue, foster, and often fund, high-impact partnerships that can help us drive our work to fast-track a treatment and cure for LAM. Summits to date have played a critical role in shaping the LAM Treatment Alliance’s Strategic Science Plan and priorities for 2011.
